A Family of Saints

The Romanovs, a Family of Saints

This post is in honor and memory of the Romanov family who were murdered by the Bolsheviks on July 17, 1918. They have been canonized as Saints by the Russian Orthodox Church Abroad and as Passion-bearers by the Russian Orthodox Church. This new family of Saints includes St. Nicholas II, his wife St. Alexandra, along with their four daughters St. Olga, St. Tatiana, St. Maria, St. Anastasia, and their only son St. Alexei. Their new feast day is on July 17.

Sometimes common sense gets lost in the attempts by professional, accomplished historians to write and publish the premier text on certain key 20th century events, such as the Bolshevik Revolution in Russia. Indeed, even Karl Marx himself, who was baptized and raised a Protestant Lutheran, predicted that a Communist Revolution in the Russian Empire would never be successful and that the most likely candidate was, in fact, Germany, his own native country. Regardless of the numerous, carefully detailed explanations offered by the academics, the ingredients of this real-life story still read like a fictional tragedy straight out of Kafka or Tolstoy. Consider the cast of characters:

MARX: a failed, bitter, angry Communist intellectual and journalist from a recently converted dynastic family of Rabbis, who courted and married a beautiful, blonde German girl of noble blood, but then managed to publish almost nothing, except a small book called 'The Communist Manifesto' written mostly by his friend and life-time patron Frederick Engels.
RASPUTIN: a dirty, lecherous Russian peasant with strange, occult powers that appeared to miraculously heal the Czarevich Alexei of his terminal illness, historically known as the Mad Monk.
LENIN: a stern, politically fanatical, Russian intellectual from a upper-class background with a completely shaven head and a well-trimmed goatee who was sent back to Russia from a defeated Germany on a mysterious black train to instigate a Revolution against the Czar.
TROTSKY: a naive, ambitious, internationalist, anti-religious son of a hard-working Jewish farmer from the Ukrainian Shetl, originally named Lev Bronstein.
STALIN: a Georgian Socialist Revolutionary expelled from Orthodox Seminary for spreading Marxism, historically known as Uncle Joe, or the Gorgeous Georgian.

I have a secret conviction that I am destined for a terrible trial, that I shall not receive my reward on this earth.

- Saint Nicholas II

These days the general understanding of the Romanovs, especially that of Nicholas II, is that he was both a brutal Jew-hating dictator and an inept ruler who was destined to lose control of the Russian Empire. In reality, he was deeply Christian man far more concerned with his wife, his chidren and his religious faith, than with the diabolical schemes of Protestant German intellectuals. All things considered, the Romanovs were just as much the pawns of history as any other common family. Needless to say, the greatest tragedy about the Bolshevik Revolution that seems to get lost in the historical milieu is the fate of the Russian people, who went from being ruled by a classical autocracy to a fanatical, anti-Christian (and anti-Jewish) dictatorship who violently persecuted and oppressed their own people most of all. The now indisputable historical facts speak for themselves:

Soviet Persecution and Imprisonment Facts
- In 1917, there were only 28,600 total prisoners within the Russian Empire, which was the largest prison population ever known in the history of Orthodox Christian, Imperial Russia.
- After the Communists murdered the Romanovs and took over the government, the prison population slowly exploded into the hundreds of thousands. By 1927, a mere 10 years after the Bolshevik Revolution, there were over 300,000 Soviet prisoners, ten times more than Czarist Russia ever had.
- Then, between the years 1929 and 1934 the prisoner population increased by twenty-three times, placing the total prison population in the millions. - In comparison to Czarist Russia, 14 million Soviet prisoners passed through the Gulag from 1929 to 1953, while an additional 6 to 7 million were forcibly exiled to remote regions of the USSR.
- A 1993 study reveals that a total of 1,053,829 prisoners died in the Gulag between 1934 to 1953. - In reality, Czarist Russia imprisoned very few of their imperial subjects, while the Communists arrested, convicted, and sentenced millions of innocent people to a life of brutal enslavement and inevitable death.

Soviet Anti-Jewish Facts
- In the summer of 1919, nearly all Jewish properties, including synagogues, were seized by the Soviet authorities. Numerous Rabbis and other religious leaders were threatened with violent persecution.
- In the mid-1930s, Stalin had any remaining Jewish leaders arrested and executed, while the Yiddish schools were forcibly shut down.
- By the late 1940s, the Communist party had abolished any and all Jewish organizations, while only a few synagogues were left open and kept under strict surveillance by the KGB.

Soviet Anti-Christian Facts
- Within five years after Lenin and the Bolsheviks had seized power, 28 Russian Orthodox bishops and 1,200 priests had been executed by the Soviet authorities. - Throughout the 1920s and 1930s, the vast majority of the Russian Orthodox Clergy, along with many of its most devout believers had been shot dead or sent to the Gulag.
- Between the years 1927 and 1949, the number of Russian Orthodox Churches dropped from 29,584 to less than 500.
- From 1917 to 1935, 130,000 Orthodox priests were arrested. 95,000 of these priests were eventually put to death by the Soviet authorities. By tradition, individuals believers that have been officially canonized by the Church are considered by the living Christian authorities to be in the Kingdom of Heaven. Those observers who believe that the Romanov family were arrogant, elitist tyrants who looked down on the Russian people do not know their history and should take the time to look up the many historically accurate summaries of the Romanovs who are now some of the newest Orthodox Christian Saints in Heaven.

Perhaps an atoning sacrifice is necessary for the salvation of Russia. I shall be that sacrifice. May the will of God be done!

- Czar Nicholas II
Nicholas II and his wife Alexandra did anything but spoil their children, and were adamant that all of them become as well-educated and intelligent as possible. Except for the expensive outfits worn only on public occasions, they had very few personal possessions that they could call their own. Priceless gifts and diplomatic offerings were taken away and kept as additions to the Imperial collection, which was originally meant as an everlasting heritage for all of Russia. From the beginning, Nicholas II and his wife insisted their children see themselves as having been born with special burdens which included numerous God-given responsibilities and duties they had to live up to and not as superior individuals born to rule over the unruly masses. The loving relationships they formed with the common peasants who were an integral part of the Imperial staff proves this to be the case.

For many reasons, the canonization of the Romanovs means that, even if the Russian Orthodox Church doesn't canonize every victim of Soviet persecution, those who aren't so well-known will still have an entire family of Heavenly advocates who already know first-hand what it was like to be murdered by a tyrannical regime based upon principles violently hostile to the Judeo-Christian tradition. Likewise, if the Romanov children are anything like they were before their execution, they would probably tell you that their personal Sainthood matters far less than the well-being of every single nameless, faceless victim of the International Communist Empire who never cared for them at all.

A single death is a tragedy, a million deaths is a statistic. - Stalin

A lie told often enough becomes the truth. - Lenin

May the LORD God bless you in the name of St. Judas Maccabaeus. God Save the Queen!

Neoliteralism, the 21st Century Theology

Neoliteralism, the Cornerstone of Judeo-Christian Theology

Today, there are a countless number of methods along with differing schools of thought when it comes to Bible Studies and Theology. At least some astute observers might say there are already far too many, with each 'method' or 'school' contradicting another so that these traditionally Christian fields of study have become nothing more than a 'Mystery Babylon' intellectual enterprise. Obviously, adding yet another catchy term to the list would seem to be compounding the problem, rather than providing a solution. Nevertheless, the project of Neoliteralism, a new term for a new scholarly outlook, has only one intent and that is simplification. Neoliteralism, as the word implies, presumes to take the Bible literally, but it also includes a basic understanding of what the Bible represents. This understanding is simple, not complex, and general, rather than specific. Thus, a perfect example of Neoliteralism can be seen in the following comments and remarks:

I. The Holy Bible is the most published, read, studied, documented, analyzed, interpreted and discussed book ever known in the history of the world.
II. The Holy Bible is currently available in more alphabets, languages, and versions which are spoken and written by more ethnicities and cultures than any other book on earth today.
III. The Holy Bible is the the single most influential book underlying the development of nearly all the written languages still used on earth today.
IV. The Holy Bible is the official text of Christianity, the largest religion with the most followers in the entire world.
V. The Holy Bible is the cornerstone of monotheism, represented by the three great religions of Judaism, Christianity, and Islam.
VI. The Holy Bible is the chronological story of a single family's relationship with a specific supernatural entity that began in 3760 B.C. with Adam and ended with Joshua ben Joseph (Jesus) in 33 A.D.
VII. The Holy Bible is the most powerful piece of literature in the modern world that has inspired, motivated, and influenced more individuals to think and act in more ways than any other written document in the history of the world.

Even if the simple generalizations just mentioned may appear controversial to some readers, each one of them is not only true, but a scientific fact that cannot be denied or dis-proven. In other words, Neoliteralism is willing to make ample use of the Statistical Sciences in order to further its primary agenda, simplicity. Is simplicity an objective goal? Is simplicity biased or politically motivated? The answers to both of those questions depend on the assumptions of what simplicity will do to the fields of Theology and Religious Studies. Put bluntly, there is an infinite number of ways of interpreting Neoliteralism's emphasis on simplicity. The non-believer might suspect that it is simply a code word for fundamentalist Christianity intent on quashing complex, sophisticated dissent of traditional Biblical belief systems. On the other hand, the believer may mistake simplicity as either an attempt to water down or dilute Christian truth or an absurd strategy to tear down the Church which has been built upon a continuing accumulation of scholarship compiled and studied throughout the centuries.

In other words, religious scholars may well be skeptical of this new contraption, this intellectual tool known as Neoliteralism. All things considered, they have every right to be. Indeed, for most readers this is the first mention of the word Neoliteralism. This original piece of jargon could end up being nothing more than another case of self-promotion. Theologians and Religious Scholars, just like nearly everybody in today's world, crave attention. They crave readers, listeners, endowments, large offices, and higher salaries. For some, the spread of Christian intellectual truth is also a strong underlying motivation.

With that in mind, Neoliteralism must be honest with itself and with others about what the term really means. This includes the inventor of the word and author of this essay. In other words, who is the man behind the curtain pulling the strings of Neoliteralism? Well, for starters, Neoliteralism is obviously a self-interested attempt to be different. Are not all 'methods' and 'outlooks' found in Theology the same way? Of course they are. Theologians, like all intellectuals, entered the field out of a desire to have their religious ideas read and listened to by others. Assuming the factor of self-interest remains, here are the basic, and specific, agendas underlying Neoliteralism.

I. Neoliteralism is Catholic: Catholic Christianity is emphasized because it is older and has more adherents than Protestantism. The reason is simple, St. Peter was specifically chosen to be the leader by Joshua (Jesus) (NOTE: the author of this essay is a practicing Roman/Ukrainian Catholic scholar.)
II. Neoliteralism is Judaic: Athens, Greco-Roman Philosophy, and Hellenism are ignored in favor of Jerusalem, Mysticism, and Judaism. The reason is simple, Joshua (Jesus) was and is a Jew.
III. Neoliteralism is Iconoclastic: Extreme anti-Christian sentiments and assumptions found in the visual arts proves their inherently Pagan and demonic tendencies. The reason is simple, God prohibited the graven image as one of the Ten Commandments
IV. Neoliteralism is Scientific: Darwin's Theory of Evolution is losing ground due to scientific dissent among experts. Natural law is concurrent with biological behavior of other mammalian species.
V. Neoliteralism is Evangelical: The continued popularity of the Bible, of Christianity, and their combined historical influence clearly indicates supernatural forces that cannot be explained scientifically. The probability of Christianity's success and the Bible's best-selling status are statistically impossible. Judeo-Christian theology is a statistically significant reality.
VI. Neoliteralism is Judeo-Christian: Numerous sayings and parables found in the Gospels have exact parallels in the Talmud, the Apocrypha, and in modern Orthodox Judaism.

VII. Neoliteralism is Catholic, Judaizing, Iconoclast, Scientist, Evangelist, and Judeo-Christian.

Honesty should not condemn a new idea, theory, or paradigm. In short, these particular aspects of Neoliteralism cannot, and should not, disqualify it from being taken seriously. No type of Theology can ever be objective due to the pre-existing preferences of their creator or inventor. Most importantly, the above statements of subjectivity represent a key component in Neoliteralism. How so? By admitting the simple, unspoken truth of Theology and Biblical Studies. Rather than remain in denial, Neoliteralism simply accepts the reality of dualism embedded in the historical differences of Judeo-Christian thought.

Sometimes, like a coin with only two sides, objective study of these differences is impossible to achieve. Buddhists, Hindus, Muslims, even nonbelievers and Pagan, are either Catholic or Protestant because, regardless of their personal faith, they will always prefer one over another. This understanding is also true concerning the traditional Christian stereotypes which have, at times, erupted into violent opposition. Historically speaking, the Glorious Revolution of England and the Iconoclasm Rebellion of the Byzantine Empire are perfect examples of ideas armed with swords. Everyone, including every theologian is, in the end, either a Judaizer or a Hellenizer, an Iconophil or an Iconoclast, an Artist or a Scientist, who is Private or Evangelical about being Christian or Judeo-Christian. To summarize, Neoliteralism is brutally honest about its intentions of being barbarically simple about Theology and Biblical Studies. Complexity and sophistication are both acceptable, but there must be balance instead of a one-sided journey into obscurity and obsolescence.

May the LORD God bless you in the name of St. Judas Maccabaeus.

A Certain Galilean?

The Way of the Nazarene
The Way of the Nazarene

QUESTION:
What is the true identity of 'a certain Galilean' which the Babylonian Talmud specifically refers to in several different places?
__________________________________________

PASSAGES FROM THE BABYLONIAN TALMUD

The Judaeans … were exact in their language … but the Galileans … were not exact in their language …  A certain Galilean once went about enquiring, ‘Who has amar?’  ‘Foolish Galilean’, they said to him, ‘do you mean an ‘ass’ for riding (hamar), ‘wine’ to drink (hamar), ‘wool’ for clothing (amar), or a ‘lamb’ for killing (amar)?’

 - Erubin 53a - 53b

Alternatively, what is andifa? The lock on the forehead. Even as a certain Galilean chanced to visit Babylon and was requested to lecture on the chariot passage. He said to them, 'I will lecture to you as R. Nehemiah lectured to his companions.' Thereupon a wasp came out of the wall and stung him on the andifa (forehead) and he died. Said they. 'This befell him through his own fault.'

- Shabbath 80b

What is mashkokith? - Here they explained it: 'The bell'. R. Jacob, however, said: 'The goat that leads the herd.' So too a certain Galilean in one of his discourses before R. Hisda [said] that when the shepherd becomes angry with his flock he appoints for a leader one which is blind.

- Baba Kamma 52a

A certain Galilean lectured before R. Hisda:  'Blessed be the Merciful One who gave a three-fold Torah  to a three-fold people through a third-born on the third day in the third month.' With whom does this agree? With the Rabbis.

- Shabbath 88a

As a certain Galilean lectured before R. Hisda: 'The Holy One, blessed be He, said: I put a rebi'ith of blood in you; therefore I commanded you concerning blood.'

- Shabbath 31b

A certain Galilean expounded before R. Hisda: 'If one should make an analogy in respect of Elijah, what does this matter resemble? A man who locked his gate and lost the key.'  R. Jose taught in Sepphoris: Father Elijah.

- Sanhedrin 113a

The Cornerstone of Truth

I have been an amateur, Gentile Scholar of the Jewish Talmud for around ten or so years. I do not speak Yiddish, Aramaic, or Hebrew. Even so, and given everything I have learned so far without any Jewish input or instruction, I must conclude that the history of Gentile Christian animosity towards this astounding set of documents should be seen as little more than a superstitious, irrational assault on common sense, let alone Biblical scholarship and practical reason.

In reality, the Talmud is literally 99.999% acceptable to nearly all forms of Christian thought and reflects a sense of ethics and morality that is, in fact, far more strict than any form of Christianity. Those who still object to the .001% of the text which may, or may not, be offensive to Christianity, are lost in La-La land and, God willing, someone will save them from themselves. Anyway, here is ABSOLUTE PROOF of an ancient, very real, Judeo-Christian tradition embedded in both the Jewish Talmud and the Christian Gospel of Matthew. For those of you who have ever been mocked or ridiculed by either Jewish or Gentile intellectuals who insist that there has never been, and never will be, a Judeo-Christian tradition, here is some undeniable vindication.

TALMUD: Man has two hands, but he is not to rob with the one and give donations with the other. (Talmud, Midrash Proverbs 11)
GOSPEL: When you give to the poor, do not let your left hand know what your right hand is doing, so that your giving will be in secret; and your Father who sees what is done in secret will reward you. (Matthew 6:3-4)

TALMUD: Swear not at all, not even to the truth. (Talmud, Tanchum, Vayikra)
GOSPEL: I tell you, Do not swear at all. (Matthew 5:34)

TALMUD: The pure of heart are God's friends. (Talmud, Genesis Rabba 41)
GOSPEL: Blessed are the pure in heart, for they will see God. (Matthew 5:8)

TALMUD: If you intend to put man to rights, put yourself to rights first. (Talmud, Midrash Psalms 53)
GOSPEL: Why do you look at the speck that is in your brother's eye, but do not notice the log that is in your own eye?...You hypocrite, first take the log out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to take the speck out of your brother's eye. (Matthew 7:3-5)

TALMUD: Have no compunction to chastise where chastisement is called for. It will produce not animosity, but eventually love and peace. (Talmud, Genesis Rabba 54)
GOSPEL: Moreover if your brother should trespass against you, go and tell him his fault between you and him alone. If he will hear you, you have gained your brother. (Matthew 18:16)

TALMUD: God knows our thoughts before they are formed. (Talmud, Genesis Rabba 9)
GOSPEL: Your Father knows what you need before you ask Him. (Matthew 6:8)

TALMUD: The truth of the Torah is a weapon to its possessor. (Talmud, Numbers Rabba 12)
GOSPEL: Do not think that I came to bring peace on the earth. I did not come to bring peace, but a sword. (Matthew 10:34)

TALMUD: One of the characteristics of the righteous is that their yes is yes, and their no is no. (Talmud, Midrash Ruth 7)
GOSPEL: Simply let your 'Yes' be 'Yes,' and your 'No' be 'No', anything beyond this comes from the evil one. (Matthew 5:37)

TALMUD: Man's eyes and his heart prompt him to sin. (Talmud, Numbers Rabba 17)
GOSPEL: I tell you that anyone who looks at a woman lustfully has already committed adultery with her in his heart. (Matthew 5:28)

TALMUD: Adultery can be committed with the eyes. (Talmud, Leviticus Rabba 23)
GOSPEL: I tell you that anyone who looks at a woman lustfully has already committed adultery with her in his heart. (Matthew 5:28)

TALMUD: Immediately when a man is born he proceeds into death, when he dies he proceeds into life. (Talmud, Midrash Samuel 23)
GOSPELS: He who has found his life will lose it, and he who has lost his life for My sake will find it. (Matthew 10:39)

TALMUD: The Guardian Angels are always near God's throne. (Talmud, Tanchum, Sazrea)
GOSPELS: Take heed that you do not despise one of these little ones, for I say unto you that in Heaven their angels do always behold the face of my Father which is in Heaven. (Matthew 18:10)

TALMUD: God lends eloquence to the suppliant. (Talmud, Midrash Proverbs 15)
GOSPEL: Do not worry about how or what you are to say, for it will be given you in that hour what you are to say. For it is not you who speaks, but it is the Spirit of your Father who speaks in you. (Matthew 10:19-20)

TALMUD: No one can imagine the reward of him who accepts all his sorrows and reverses with religious resignation. (Talmud, Tanchum, Kee Saizai)
GOSPEL: Blessed are you when people insult you, persecute you and falsely say all kinds of evil against you because of me. Rejoice and be glad, because great is your reward in heaven, for in the same way they persecuted the prophets who were before you. (Matthew 5:11-12)

TALMUD: What Solomon meant to convey by the words, 'What profit has a man of all his labor which he does under the sun?' (Ecclesiaste 1:2) is that whatever a man may possess on earth, under the sun, he must inevitably part with, but it is different if he provides for himself above the sun, in heaven. (Talmud, Midrash Ecclesiastes 1)
GOSPEL: A man came up to Jesus and asked, "Teacher, what good thing must I do to get eternal life?'...Jesus answered, 'If you want to be perfect, go, sell your possessions and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven. Then come, follow me.' (Matthew 19:16-21)

TALMUD: As the sea throws up its debris upon the shores, so the wicked have filthiness upon their mouths. (Talmud, Midrash Psalms 2)
GOSPELS: Jesus asked them. 'Don't you see that whatever enters the mouth goes into the stomach and then out of the body? But the things that come out of the mouth come from the heart, and these make a man unclean. For out of the heart come evil thoughts, murder, adultery, sexual immorality, theft, false testimony, slander.' (Matthew 15:16-19)

TALMUD: When no justice is done here below, it will be accomplished from above. (Talmud, Deuteronomy Rabba 5)
GOSPEL: But many who are first will be last, and many who are last will be first. (Matthew 19:30)

TALMUD: Swear not at all, not even to the truth. (Talmud, Tanchum, Vayikra)
GOSPEL: I tell you, Do not swear at all: either by heaven, for it is God's throne; or by the earth, for it is his footstool; or by Jerusalem, for it is the city of the Great King. And do not swear by your head, for you cannot make even one hair white or black. (Matthew 5:34-36)

TALMUD: To do justice and righteousness is more acceptable to God than sacrifices (Proverbs 21:3)...Sacrifices atoned only for sins committed in error not for presumptuous sin, justice and righteousness atone for all sins. (Talmud, Deuteronmy Rabba 5)
GOSPEL: Go and learn what this means: 'I DESIRE COMPASSION, AND NOT SACRIFICE,' for I did not come to call the righteous, but sinners. (Matthew 9:13)

TALMUD: To do justice and righteousness is more acceptable to God than sacrifices (Proverbs 21:3). Sacrifices were in vogue only while the Temple was in existence, but justice and righteousness must exist with and without the Temple. Sacrifices atoned only for sins committed in error not for presumptuous sin, justice and righteousness atone for all sins. (Talmud, Deuteronmy Rabba 5)
GOSPEL If only you had known what this means, 'I desire mercy, and not sacrifice,' you would not have condemned the guiltless. (Matthew 12:7)

TALMUD: Let no man boast of his exalted position. Even so great a man as Samuel received a rebuke for his lack of modesty.
(Talmud, Midrash Samuel 12)
GOSPEL: Whosoever therefore shall humble himself as this little child, the same is greatest in the kingdom of heaven. (Matthew 18:4)

TALMUD: God will wipe away tears from off all faces (Isaiah 25:8). This means from the faces of non-Jews as well as Jews.
(Talmud, Genesis Rabba 26)
GOSPEL: Behold, my servant whom I have chosen, My beloved in whom my soul is well pleased. I will put my Spirit upon him, and he shall declare judgment to the Gentiles....And in his name shall the Gentiles hope. (Matthew 12:18-21)

TALMUD: The leper, the blind, the abject poor, and those who have no children are as though they are dead. (Talmud, Tanchum,Tsav)
GOSPEL: Another of the disciples said to Him, 'Lord, permit me first to go and bury my father.' But Jesus said to him, 'Follow Me, and allow the dead to bury their own dead.' (Matthew 8:21-22)

TALMUD: God tells man, 'Behold, I am pure, my habitation is pure, my ministering angels are pure, and the spark of Myself (the soul) deposited with you is pure, take heed that you restore to Me that spark in the same state of purity as when it was given to you.' (Talmud, Leviticus Rabba 18)

Freely you received, freely give.' (Matthew 10:1-8)

GOSPEL: Blessed are those who are persecuted because of righteousness, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. (Matthew 5:10)

These passages are proof positive that the Christian Gospels were definitively Jewish in origin, reflecting mainstream Jewish thought and sentiment as seen during the lifetime of Joshua (Jesus Christ) that has continued, parallel with Christianity, for thousands of years since that time. I, Jesus, have sent My angel to testify to you..I am the root and the descendant of David, the bright morning star.

- Revelation 22:16

Part I. The Rabbi, the Archangel, the only Son of God
As of now, the religion of Christianity is being practiced by over two billion people throughout the world. One of the main beliefs which they share in common is that Jesus Christ, the Jew from Nazareth, is the only Son of God and as such is also the rightful heir to the throne of Israel. Those who practice Judaism continue to quietly disagree, but they only have around 13 million followers world-wide and are currently not reproducing themselves. Because of this, along with a large amount of intermarriage with Gentiles, there will continue to be fewer and fewer practicing Jews with every passing year.

Over the centuries, the Church has continued to emphasize the fact that Jesus is the only Son of God for a variety of reasons. First, legend has it that He is the lone survivor of a horrific war against Satan, the great, red dragon, where all the other Sons of God were killed while trying to protect God their Father from the evil forces of the Devil. Truth be told, this was more than just another fantasy or science fiction best-seller, but a very real Angel war that continues unto this very day.

In a sense, the Virgin Mary, Mother of God, was simply a convenient hiding place that, in desperation, the Holy Ghost used to conceal the whereabouts of the last remaining Son of God more than two thousand years ago. Nine months later, He was born in a manger in Bethlehem and became man. While nearly all Church authorities tend to downplay the issue, concerned that simple believers might misunderstand, the Bible clearly indicates that, in addition to everything else, Jesus also happens to be the morning star (translated as Lucifer in Latin). As such. Jesus is also considered the one and only true archangel Lucifer and the Church insists that there has never been another in all of mankind’s history. The Bible states the following:

Now there was a day when the sons of God came to present
themselves before the LORD, and Satan came also among them.

- Job 1:6

When the morning stars sang together, and all the sons of God
shouted for joy.

- Job 38:7

These two passages from the Old Testament relate to a much different time and place when God had many different Sons and was still married to Mother Nature, long before she was violently murdered by the goddess Diana, the moon, along with many other hateful Pagan goddesses who despised her natural beauty and power. Because the Roman Catholic Church already knew that there would be many impostors, including non-Jews, some of them willing converts to Christianity, who would attempt to claim themselves as the Messiah, namely the next Son of God, they made quite sure to declare Jesus as the one and only Son who would return someday to rule the earth forever. In reality, the official Church doctrine still maintains that Rabbi Jesus is now the one and only Archangel Lucifer. Wikipedia states the following:

In Revelation 2:16…it is Jesus who is described as the morning star. An echo of this Biblical use is found in the Roman Rite Roman liturgy, in which the Exultet chant in praise of the paschal candle refers to Christ as the morning star (in Latin Lucifer):

EXULTET CHANT of the Roman Catholic Church
WORDS IN ENGLISH: May the Morning Star which never
sets find this flame still burning: Christ, that Morning Star,
who came back from the dead, and shed his peaceful light
on all mankind, your Son, who lives and reigns for ever and ever.
WORDS IN LATIN: Flammas eius lucifer matutinus inveniat: ille,
inquam, lucifer, qui nescit occasum, Christus Filius tuus qui,
regressus ab inferis, humano generi serenus illuxit, et vivit et
regnat in saecula saeculorum.

Another very important reason why the Church insisted that Jesus was the only Son of God, the only Archangel Lucifer, was because planet Earth revolved around only one star, the sun, even though the Pagans worshiped numerous different sun gods. This included the homosexual Greco-Roman god Apollo who, after Christianity was declared the official religion of the Roman Empire, immediately demanded that Rabbi Jesus needed to share His solar rule over the earth with himself. Because of this, the early Church fathers realized that any other so-called Son of God would simply be Apollo in disguise, who remained possibly violent, deceitful, and degenerate ever since he had been thrown down from Heaven into Hell to then become Satan.

Interestingly enough, the Book of Revelation strongly suggests that Jesus Christ has already ascended to the throne of God and that He is now looking for those who qualify to become one of His new Sons of God, so that He can have several different Sons, just like own His father did a long, long time ago.

He that overcomes shall inherit all things; and I
will be his God, and he shall be my Son.

- Revelation 21:7

NOTE: The LORD our God is a series of articles concerning the God of Israel, the God of the Holy Bible. This is the first article which is entitled I. God the Father has Horns

One of the most fundamental issues concerning the LORD God of the Holy Bible is His appearance. What does the LORD God look like? After thoroughly investigating the available research, a tentative conclusion can be reached. The LORD God is a giant, barbaric, bearded, circumcised, possibly extra-terrestrial male sorcerer that stands between 50-100 feet tall, perhaps even larger. Most importantly, He has horns upon each side of His forehead, like a ram or a goat, but in all other respects resembles a fiercely handsome, adult male.

Then Moses went up with Aaron, Nadab, and Abihu, and seventy of the elders of Israel, and they saw the God of Israel; and under His feet there appeared to be a pavement of sapphire, as clear as the sky itself. Yet He did not stretch out His hand against the nobles of the sons of Israel; and they saw God, and they ate and drank.

- Exodus 24:9-11

Keep in mind that, traditionally speaking, the LORD God resides in Heaven, in other words- outer space. Thus, there is the distinct possibility that the LORD God of both the Old and the New Testament is a supernatural, extra-terrestrial being from another world, or planet, somewhere nearby in the Milky Way galaxy. He appears capable of manipulating both time and space and has basically mastered the forces of nature- earth, air, water, and fire. His life-span measures in the thousands, perhaps tens of thousands, of years, if not longer. In His world, or home planet, there are probably many different forms of horned creatures, some of whom walk on two legs, others who walk on all fours. Historically speaking, it is entirely accurate to insist that YHVH, or Yahweh, the father God of both Jews and Christians, has horns. Canaanite legend states this explicitly. The Hebrews were directly related to the Canaanites because both were Semitic tribes descended from Shem. The Bible itself also hints at this ‘horned’ reality. The passages are as follows:

God brought them out of Egypt; He has, as it were, the [horn]
of a unicorn.

- Numbers 23:22

God brings him out of Egypt; He has [horns] like a wild ox.

- Numbers 24:8

One prominent Biblical scholar believes that these passages can only lead to one possible conclusion. He states without hesitation that, ‘The horns belong to God, who is…called El.’ With this in mind, it is difficult to accept the opinions of some critics who believe that God the father does not have horns, only the Devil does. In the past, this line of thought has lead to some highly anti-Semitic conclusions. Jew-haters spewing nonsense have time and again attempted to claim that the horned God of the Jews was, and is, the Devil and that the God of Christianity does not have horns. While Rabbi Jesus may not have horns, to say that the God of the Jews, or of the Christians, is hornless is completely contrary to the statements of more than a few experts. Consider the following quotations:

The Canaanite gods Baal and El were horned bull gods as was,
originally, Yahveh, which is why horns decorate the altar described
in Exodus 27.

- Encyclopedia of Religions

Horns, in Moses' time, were a symbol of authority and power.
Many gods, including YHVH have been depicted as having
them.

- Mary Sutherland

This god…was seen in two basic ways; as a solar sky deity
and, particularly as he expressed himself in nature, as a horned
god of the woodlands and forests. A great being who was lord
of all nature. He also has many names: Cernunnos, Merlin, Lugh,
Pan, Osiris and many others including YHVH, or Jehovah of the
Hebrews.

- John and Donna Beasley

The modern confusion over the appearance of God the Father comes mostly from the artwork of Michelangelo. In his various paintings and sculptures, God is portrayed without horns, like Zeus (or Jupiter), the sexually degenerate god of the Greeks and the Romans. This has caused generations upon generations of believers to picture the Christian father God as human and without horns. For whatever reason, Michelangelo did make a sculpture of the prophet Moses with horns. Sadly, many Christians have taken this to mean that the God of Moses, the God of the Old Testament, the God of the Jews, was the Devil with horns, while the God of Jesus Christ, the God of the New Testament, the God of Christianity did not have horns and was an entirely different God.

This is completely contrary to Church teachings and is, in fact, blasphemy and heresy. The God of the Old Testament and the God of the New Testament was, and is, the exact same God. Scores of Christian scholars have confirmed this throughout the centuries. Christians certainly do not worship Zeus, a sexually perverted human god without horns. They never did. They worship the God of the Holy Bible. Modern research and scholarship have shown conclusively that this God traditionally had horns.

What may perplex the Christians of today is the age-old legend that Satan, the Devil has horns. Keep in mind that these same legends never said God did not have horns. In fact, the proper Biblical tradition is to never, ever create an image of God whether it be a painting or a sculpture. The Ten Commandments completely forbids any portrayal of what God actually looks like:

You shall not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of
any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth below, or
that is in the water under the earth.

- Exodus 20:4

For this reason, the image of God having horns has remained somewhat of a secret over the centuries. It has been passed down from generation to generation, from father to son, by word of mouth commonly known as the oral tradition. This may leave some Christians of today feeling somewhat uncomfortable, disbelieving, or even frightened. Nevertheless, when it comes to the God of the Holy Bible, the faithful and obedient need never be afraid. YHVH, the horned God of the Hebrews is a God of justice and mercy. He always has been and always will be. His people, the Jews, have proven to be some of the kindest, most peaceful people in history. His only son, Rabbi Jesus, followed in this tradition by preaching peace, love, tolerance, and forgiveness. In God’s eyes, Satan, the Devil, is an evil, very dangerous nuisance who both tempts and accuses mankind with wrongdoing. He is the little bat, rat, or cockroach, the pest that God just can’t seem to catch. While both of them may originate from the same Heavenly world, or planet, that contains many different horned creatures, God and Satan are distinctly different in both size and temperament. God, a horned, benevolent giant looks down upon mankind with kindness and generosity, forever willing to forgive their sins and treat them with benevolence. At the same time, Satan, the little horned pest and rodent, the malcontent son, the insane, ugly and evil uncle, views man with hatred, suspicion, envy and malice. Through the use of Scriptures, God warns the good people of earth against ever trusting in His opponent, the Devil, or any of his fellow wicked, little horned people. As the Bible states:

The children of Israel may bring their sacrifices, which they offer
in the open field…they may bring them unto the LORD…And they
shall no more offer their sacrifices unto devils, after whom they
have gone prostituting themselves. This shall be a statute for
ever unto them throughout their generations.

- Leviticus 17:5-7

Some believers may become confused or even angry that the God of the Holy Bible has hidden the fact that He has horns from so many of His loyal and devout followers throughout the centuries. One reason may well be because He considered it unimportant or because Zeus, the evil, sexually perverted, Pagan god without horns, may have deceitfully tried to usurp God’s place in the minds of men by trying to convince everyone that only Satan has horns. The fact remains that Zeus is not YHVH, the God of Israel, and never will be. Just as his son Apollo, a murderer and a pervert, was no Jesus Christ and never will be. The hiding of God’s horns is not a conspiracy. It is merely one small part of the Biblical tradition, predicted several different times in Scriptures. They are as follows:

[God] said, I will hide my face from them, I will see what their
end shall be. - Deuteronomy 32:20

How long will you forget me, O LORD? For ever? How long will
you hide your face from me? - Psalm 13:1

Hide not your face far from me; put not your servant away in anger.
You have been my help; leave me not, neither forsake me, O God
of my salvation. - Psalm 27:9

LORD, by your favor you have made my mountain to stand
strong: you did hide your face, and I was troubled. - Psalm 30:7

Why do you hide your face, and forget our affliction and
our oppression? - Psalm 44:24

Truly you are a God that hides yourself, O God of Israel, the
Savior. - Isaiah 45:15

Neither will I hide my face any more from them: for I have
poured out my spirit upon the house of Israel, says the Lord
GOD. - Ezekiel 39:29

¨ It is to be hoped that, when it comes to giant men with horns, a profound change of heart can occur among the billions of believers in the three great religions of Abraham, namely Judaism, Christianity, and Islam. This small change of heart has to occur in order for God to fully reveal Himself once again. For how can this barbaric giant, who has spiritually conquered most of the world, ever hope to meet His children face to face if they remain terrified of His horns? For Christians, how can Rabbi Jesus ever introduce His father to a hostile audience who would mistake Him for the Devil? For this reason, God remains hidden from view. Until the hearts and minds of mankind change, He must.

For the past few centuries, theologians have speculated upon the omnipotence, omniscience, and unimaginable light and glory which they believe to be God Almighty. They forget what the Bible clearly states numerous times in many languages- that God has a face, hands, and feet just like a man. He also has a name and that is YHVH which in Hebrew means, ‘I will be what I will be.’ Dozens, literally hundreds, of rival gods with rival stories and rival traditions have perished under the onslaught of Christianity and Islam. Today, the Pagan gods are considered nothing more than myths. Was this all just a coincidence? Or is man finally prepared to meet both his maker and creator face to face, the fierce, bearded giant with horns who has conquered them all. Only time will tell.
